This assignment was my first experience working with dreamweaver. I had issues with the "repeat loop function." When I would add the coding then go to "live", everything would disappear from the screen altogether.

Blog #1
Leigha, Soul Rebel, or Princess Leia. Those are my names. Leigha by birth and the rest are acquired nicknames that I managed to be assigned along the way.
I often wonder the power that our names hold for us. Word is sound, and sound is power.
My father named me Leigha after the iconic rebel Princess Leia from Star Wars. Did he know that I would grow up to become a rebel of sorts myself? Or was this somehow destined for me as I carried this name title throughout my life? Curious enough.
My friends named me Soul Rebel after the Bob Marley song. A Soul Rebel is one who rebels against society in their own way and seeks truth along their soul's journey.
I am greatly looking forward to this semester and to learning how to use design software. I have my own creative agency named Rebel Creative. I have a few clients that I manage their branding, social media, create websites for, promote events and albums for, and more. Currently I hire outside graphic designers to create graphics that I need for their fliers and social media content. As happy as I am to support fellow artists, this cost comes out of my pocket. I'm looking forward to begin learning this craft so I can keep some of these projects in house when possible.
The first day of class was very motivating and put my mind to ease. I have full confidence and peace of mind that I have both the professor and resources available to me to be successful. This course will certainly be a jumpstart in making my own business successful as well as providing me with skills to use later in my career as well.
